2011 Porsche Cayenne to be crossover

The 2011 Porsche Cayenne is already undergoing road tests by engineers, and has been caught numerous times on the roads of Germany, in minor camouflage.
It has been heavily speculated, likely due to statements made by Porsche insiders, that the next Cayenne will be a road-going crossover SUV instead of a true off-roader, thereby bringing it in line with its less-capable competitors from its home country.
It is unfortunate that Porsche is taking this direction, considering it was the only German luxury SUV that wasn’t a total poseur.
