2011 Mercedes-Benz GL-Class and M-Class recall

Mercedes-Benz has issued a recall for brand new 2011 E-Class, M-Class, GL-Class, and R-Class models due to leaky fuel filters.

According to the NHTSA, the O-ring on the fuel filter may not have been properly lubricated, and that can result in fuel spilling out onto roads, causing slippery unsafe conditions for other drivers.

Approximately 2,300 vehicles are affected by this recall there, and Mercedes-Benz dealers will replace the fuel filters free of charge.
